NESA collects your personal information in order to fulfil its functions under the:
· Teacher Accreditation Act 2004 (the Act)
· Education Act 1990
· Education Standards Authority Act 2013.
These functions include maintaining a roll of teachers, maintaining a public register of teachers and regulating teacher accreditation processes across NSW.
Information collected through eTAMS will only be accessed by those authorised to do so for the purposes of the Act. The information will not be given to any other person or agency unless it is required or authorised by law.
